When we dine out, we have some favorite places that we frequent too.
Joey B’s in South County – A casual place for great food and drinks. Awesome for families too.
Trattoria Marcella – One of our favorite places to go on date night. The owners and chefs are good friends and they are passionate about their restaurant. They have great food, great drinks, and awesome service. Plus, they are located in our old stomping grounds in the city.
Farotto’s Family of Restaurants – We have some great friends that own this restaurant. I worked at the original Farotto’s Restaurant in Rock Hill as a server. They have awesome pizza and toasted ravioli. My dear friend Lisa and her husband Gerard LaRuffa own and manage Club Taco their newest venture in Kirkwood, MO.
The Hill in St. Louis – If you are not native to St. Louis, then you must go visit The Hill in St. Louis. The Hill is the premier destination for Italian food in St. Louis. The Hill is an area full of Italian immigrants and their descendants. It’s a clost knit community that not only includes great Italian food, but also includes pizza parlors, bakeries, deli’s, specialty shops and more.
